Several winners, actually! Last week, we posted a contest to the blog asking for your input on your favorite Lorna's Laces colors in exchange for a chance to win a $50 shopping spree! So many of you responded, and I enjoyed reading all of your favorites and the stories behind them, as well as many nice comments about the store! We're glad that you like it - we really do work hard to give you a great selection and a great customer experience. I'm sure you are all waiting for this, so ... drum roll ... the winner of the drawing for the $50 shopping spree is Jen C. If you are Jen C, we e-mailed you earlier this afternoon about your prize!
Our other winners were, of course, colors. The best surprise was that many of your favorite colors are already stocked at Eat.Sleep.Knit - in fact, the top four were all colors already available in the store.

The dark purple colors are already in stock in Shepherd Sock, and in many cases Lion and Lamb too! The turquoise colors we only stock in Lion and Lamb. The pink bars are colors we don't carry at all - a situation we clearly need to remedy straight away! We'll be adding all three of these to the store, as well as some that didn't make the graph - Buck's Bar, Seaside, Rainbow, and Jeans. We also looked at solid colors, and based on your feedback, we'll be adding Cranberry, Cedar, and Harvest to our Shepherd Sock lines and possibly also the Worsted.
In other news, knitting in the Vixen Camisole continues along...

I'm getting close to the dropping-all-the-purls part, and I'm pretty psyched to see what it looks like (and if it fits). Also exciting - see how much yarn is left there? That is from the original skein of Smooshy. I only have about 25 more rounds to go, and that yarn is plenty to do it, which means that you can knit this top in Dream In Color for about $40 if you can squeeze into a medium or smaller! In fact, I actually cast on the same number of stitches as the XL calls for, decreasing up the sides gradually for most of the top back down to the medium size, so one skein of Smooshy should definitely fit a regular medium and maybe even a large (though I'd recommend only trying that with one skein if you're willing to accept a slightly shorter top should it all end badly...).
